This device is intended to supply oxygen for applications requiring high concentration. It produces an enriched product gas by concentrating the oxygen contained in room air. The operation of the device begins with air being pulled into the external air intake filter. This filtered air enters the compressor via a suction resonator and fine filter. Pressurized air then exits the compressor and into an electronic valve system that directs the air into one of two tubes that contain molecular sieve (sieve beds). The molecular sieve adsorbs (physically attracts) the nitrogen from the air as it is pushed through the sieve beds. This allows the oxygen enriched product gas to pass through before being delivered to the pressure regulator. As one tube is generating the product gas, the other is being purged of the adsorbed nitrogen, this process is called pressure swing adsorption (PSA). After passing through the regulator, the rate of product gas is set by the flow meter adjusting valve. Finally, it passes through a fine particle filter (product filter) and then exits the device through a fire-resistant outlet.
Features of the Max Series:
Water Cooled Subzero Models Available! The addition of water cooling technology to your ProO2 Max drastically reduces the temperature of and moisture in the product gas, therefore increasing the life of your machine.
- Produced in a durable aluminum cabinet to accommodate the components and machinery of the concentrator, while not hindering mobility or convenience of the overall unit.
- Sits atop 4 stabilizing rubber feet, to prevent potential damage or impede movement.
- Overall weight of the Max 5, 8, and 10 concentrators: 56 lbs (26 kg); Mini Max: 15 lbs (6.8 kg)
- Dimensions of the Max 5, 8, and 10 machines (L x W x H): in inches (20 x 10 x 24), in centimeters (51 x 25 x 61); Mini Max: in (9.5 x 7.8 x 9.8), cm (21 x 20 x 25)

- Outlet Pressure for the Pro Family:
- Mini Max: 5 PSIG
- Max 5: 12 PSIG
- Max 8: 15 PSIG
- Max 10: 20 PSIG
- Makes use of an Oxygen Content Sensor Indicator (OCSI) that comes standard on the Circuit Board. The purified Oxygen passes through a chamber that measures the concentration of the gas via ultrasonic waves, and will notify via both visual and auditory aids if that purity were to drop below the threshold of 83% purified O2.
- Utilizes a resettable Circuit Breaker to protect the circuitry from damage in the event of a short circuit or power overload. 5-amp Breakers used on all 115 Volt Models, and 10-amp Breakers on the 230 Volt Models.
- The Mini Max machine has a barbed Oxygen outlet fitting to ensure a secure connection to the outlet and prevent accidental disconnecting, whereas the Max 5/8/10 utilizes a male DISS fitting for a more secure connection to the Oxygen outlet.
- The outer filter of the machine can be washed with warm water to remove dust and other foreign materials caught in it; doing so regularly not only increases the purity of the oxygen generated, but also increases the longevity of the machine overall.
- Comes with numerous safety features, such as an auditory alarm in the event of Loss of Power, High/Low Pressure, overall process failure, and if purity falls below a certain point. This is also accompanied by a solid red LED light to alert the user that there is a problem.
- Our AMP Booster Unit can raise the outlet pressure at a source gas (air, oxygen or nitrogen) up to 85 psig and outlet flows of up to 20 LPM, with a continuous operation providing low electrical draw and better life expectancy.
About the Mini Max
Announcing the launch of the Mini Max, the newest arrival to the Max Series of Oxygen Concentrators. Built into a powder-coated Aluminum cabinet, the Mini-Max produces 0.5 Liters per Minute of 93% (+2.5/-2.0) purified Oxygen at an outlet pressure rate of 7 Pounds per Square Inch in a compact yet rugged design. This unit combines the low-power consumption of a small concentrator with the dynamic high purity levels found on the traditional stationary concentrator. With a footprint the size of a shoebox, the Mini-Max is a perfect candidate for applications such as aquariums, koi & goldfish ponds, pet supply store usage, laboratory usage, diagnostics, sensor/probe calibrations, and small gardens. The flow and pressure ratings for this system also can be used to oxygenate water for athletic activity and for general health & well-being applications.
